Yes agreed, why are the Wordfence logs soooo BIG???
My total database size has increased from about 6Mb to about 10Mb after installing the plugin. Whilst this is not particular an issue in any specific way yet, it does seem odd that one plugin should account for maybe 40% of my WP database size.
Here are my db stats for this plugin for reference:
wp_wfBadLeechers 1 Kb
wp_wfBlocks 3.059 Kb
wp_wfBlocksAdv 1 Kb
wp_wfConfig 19.313 Kb
wp_wfCrawlers 2.598 Kb
wp_wfFileMods 454.551 Kb
wp_wfHits 2131.215 Kb
wp_wfHoover 3.066 Kb
wp_wfIssues 5.719 Kb
wp_wfLeechers 55.619 Kb
wp_wfLockedOut 10.395 Kb
wp_wfLocs 117.039 Kb
wp_wfLogins 159.32 Kb
wp_wfNet404s 1 Kb
wp_wfReverseCache 12.02 Kb
wp_wfScanners 1 Kb
wp_wfStatus 128.434 Kb
wp_wfThrottleLog 3.086 Kb
wp_wfVulnScanners 1 Kb
Hits and filemods seem to be the biggest culprits. Is there any way this info could be stored more efficiently that this? 2Mb for just the list of hits seems rather a lot doesn't it? Alternatively, is there some way to limit the log sizes or periodically clear them out?
Otherwise, great plugin which seems to be working very well for me.
Thanks, James
