So I have a follow-up question on how the doNotCache function works. In my above example, when doNotCache is triggered, does it not cache that section of the page, or does it not cache the entire page on which it is called?
I'm hoping for the former. If the latter, then every page that uses page.php as its template and doesn't have a featured image assigned (which is 90% of my site's content) would not be cached. So there would be very little difference in using caching or not.
