Since moving a WordPress site to new hosting, I’m seeing the following error message on the diagnostics page under Connectivity > Connecting back to this site:
wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was: 403 Forbidden
It doesn’t seem to be interfering with Wordfence scans, however, I do see several references to Wordfence in the site’s error log. I’m not sure whether I should paste the entire error message (are there security concerns?), but several lines of the error log refer to access_compat:error, client denied by server configuration, and wordfence_syncAttackData= followed by a number.
I’ve moved several other WordPress sites with Wordfence over to different accounts with this same hosting company, and this is the first time I’ve seen this error.
Is it something U should be concerned about, and if so, how do I fix the error?
Thanks!
