I have heard a lot about the Wordfence Security plugin. So, I installed the free version to check and observe its functionality. It has changed a lot of files and my site became sluggish; not opening properly. Images, navbar, and some blocks were blocked.
Then, I uninstalled it but still, my site is not opening properly. I do not know how to restore those files. This plugin does not have a restore/reset option. I guess the vendor has intentionally made it so that we are compelled to buy it. How cheap mentality vendors have.
Stay away from such a plugin or, take proper backup of your site before giving it a try to it.
I request you to please help me how can I come out from such a messup.
