I have Wordfence options set to block an IP if there are 5 attempts to log in, and the lockout is for 24 hours. In reviewing these attempts most of them are trying to use admin as the username. I am using the free version of Wordfence.
I do not have ‘admin’ defined as a user.
Are there any reasons that I should NOT permanently lock out any IP address that attempts to use ‘admin’ as a username?
Thanks
