My reverse proxy IP appears in WF Dashboard for “Top IPs Blocked”. It’s the number 1 offender supposedly.
I had “How does Wordfence get IPs” set to:
” – Let Wordfence use the most secure method to get visitor IP addresses. Prevents spoofing and works with most sites. (Recommended)”
Everything seemed to be working correctly with my WP site. Except for seeing my proxy’s IP in the “Top IPs Blocked” dashboard.
I have since switched to:
“- Use the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header. Only use if you have a front-end proxy or spoofing may result.”
And I added the proxy IP to “+ Edit trusted proxies”
Is this a bug?
