Blocking file and .htaccess access breaks firewall optimisation

Hi All,

I recently used WordPress Toolkit to optimise my security and ever since I blocked file access and blocked access to the .htaccess my Wordfence firewalll is no longer optimised and I can’t optimise my firewall any more.

Is there an alternate way of optimising my firewall when I block access to the files or what are the recommended steps.
