I have just installed Wordfence on a website (free version). The firewall is not being optimized, there’s a message that appears that says that I need to wait a few minutes but then nothing happens.
Another issue that is happening is on scans. The standard scan is detecting issues on certain files, but when I click to repair them, it says that an error occurred. This is the message: “We could not write to that file. You may not have permission to modify files on your WordPress server.“
I also went to the diagnostics tabs and there appears to be a Connectivity issue. This is the message that appears: “wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was: cURL error 7:“.
Is this a host problem or did I do something wrong with the installation?
I am logged in on WordPress 6.7.2., using Google Chrome browser on a PC Windows 10.
The website is hosted on GoDaddy (with wordpress management platform). PHP version is 8.0.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
