Meu site estava funcionando perfeitamente até que de um dia pro outro caiu e eu nao sei o fazer.
Entrei em contato com o host, me disseram que acharam um erro no plugin wordfence, apontando um erro line 153. Com isso desativaram o plugin e em seguida deu um erro no arquivo load.php line 651.
Não estou achando uma solução, o site nao teve alterações para isso acontecer.

My website was working perfectly until one day it crashed and I didn’t know what to do. I contacted the host, they told me that they found an error in the wordfence plugin, pointing out an error line 153. As a result, they deactivated the plugin and then it gave an error in the load.php file line 651. I’m not finding a solution, the website hasn’t changed for this to happen.

I changed my email reference address in Wordfence central profile as well in each installed plugin on websites but I still receive the WF activity notifications on the old email address.

Hi,
could the entry in the options table called wf_sn_active_plugins be related to WordFence ?
If so, it will slow down my site performance as it is autoloaded and has a size of 643k by now. I cannot believe that WordFence needs to process 643k of data at every page load so why has it an autoloaded value. Note that if there isn’t a need to autoload, perhaps check out how WordPress team has solved a similar issue with _transient_dirsize_cache.

We recently had an issue with (what we learned) was W3 Total Cache which created MILLIONS of files on the server – that said, we were told by our host we had malware and they managed to talk us into buying THEIR firewall crap – BUT long story short, we didnt have malware (and I was VERY confident Wordfence was doing the job it has always done for me on many sites) — (so sorry but…) with THAT said, they installed “SUCURI” and then we had them remove it – and credited us the cost – but NOW I see wordfence live traffic isn’t displaying, rules haven’t been updated and moreover, HTACCESS has this in it?
Apparently it’s preventing us from reaching Wordfence servers and I dont know what HTACCESS SHOULD say, so it will work again?
Or should I uninstall it and reinstall it?

I just purchased the premium version of the plugin because I was hoping it would help with a really nasty card-testing bot. Before I purchased the plugin, these orders were mostly failed and a few were success. The bot is using the rest api to place these orders and is only able to actually get them to go through if I’m using PayPal Advanced Card Processing for checkout. Stripe will stop them from coming through at all. The bot never uses the same IP and uses good user-agents.
After enabling WordFence Premium, the orders are now all in draft status… which is better, but still would love to block this bot from accessing at all. I was hoping WordFence firewall had REST API endpoint configurations but it doesn’t appear to.. however it is able to at least determine that these are not humans, and it throws a 500 error at them when they attempt to place the order.
WordFence also doesn’t log these unless I log everything, and then it only gives me limited info.. It tells me that the order was set to draft and that the post author was ‘admin’ however that’s impossible!
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

When the WordPress (WooCommerce) login form blocks a user, a 503 error message is displayed:
‘ERROR: Login failed with status code 503. Please contact the site administrator.’
There is some way to customise this message, e.g. ‘Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to failed login attempts using incorrect username and password. Please try again after 10 minutes.’.
That would help a lot because the real user doesn’t understand what’s going on, and thinks it’s due to a web error.
It is possible?

I cannot say when this happened, but it looks it was caused either by the last or one of the last WF updates.
I’m using a SnappyMail client and it used to run without issues. Now it displays the following error when accessed:

If I disable WAF in WF, SnappyMail runs fine, so it looks WAF is blocking something. Can you suggest what should I allow in WAF to make SnappyMail run?

We just started using Wordfence and it looks like an excellent plugin. When setting up Rate Limiting, there is an option “How should we treat Google’s crawlers” and specific settings that can be applied. How can we configure Wordfence to ensure that GROK-2 OR XAI does not get blocked similar to Google? Thanks.

My website was infected/hacked and redirected and created several pages to the website br.googleeplay, I used the Wordfense scan and it identified the altered index.php file (restored) and another suspicious video.php file (deleted). It is redirecting to the page br.googleeplay.com/br30.html. The question is whether these two files were responsible for this redirection or do I need to do something else. Thanks

Over the last 3 days, I’ve not been able to run a manual scan on my site.
[Dec 22 03:22:57] Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: There was an error connecting to the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to noc1.wordfence.com port 443 after 3171 ms: Could not connect to serverHave verified that all ips (3 in our whitelist rules and 3 in our ip access rules) are added to our cloudflare account, as outlined how to do so on Wordfence’s website. Have added custom rule for WF Whitelist. Also added IP Access Rules.
Also ensured the noabort code is included in our .htaccess file. To be thorough, I’ve added noabort variations outlined on WF’s site.

Every time I long into my WP admin dashboard for this site, I get two [Wordfence Alert] emails telling me that “a user . . . (me) . . . who has administrator access signed in to your WordPress site.” Why the double notifications? Is there a way I can fix this?

I am trying to uninstall Wordfence. When doing so the message appears to remove extended protection. Manually removed the Wordfence content from the files .htaccess and user.ini.
My installation does not have the php.ini file. After this I also could not remove the extended protection. The plugin does not respond to any changes.
Wordfence continues to scan the site. I receive error messages from WordPress, still unable to uninstall Wordfence. From the hosting suggest to do a installation of the site from a copy. Since you have found errors in the site originated by the plugin.
I don’t know what I can do to fix this problem.

Hello,
Since I scanned my website (that uses HivePress plugin) with Wordfance, I got unable to log in on its front page. When I click sign in button and add any username/password and click login, I am redirected to the home page without logging in. Did scanning my site with Wordfence broke it? How can I recover?
By the way the scan was done two months ago, but I just realized to day (because I found it weird there was no new listings since then)

we consistently receive bot traffic from urlumbrella.com and have them blocked with your plugin but they still show up in our google analtyics reporting, skewing our numbers and making us look like we cannot control it. I blocked them with your plugin on August 2, 2024 and still see them showing up as recently as December 19th. Not sure if your plugin can really block them.
